I provide a scable applications of machine learning for the analysis of genome sequencing data sets, including the annotation of sequence elements and epigenetic, proteomic or metabolomic data. I solve recurrent challenges in the application of supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods, as well as we provide generative and discriminative modelling approaches. Also I help researchers to assist in the selection of these machine learning methods and their practical application for the analysis of genetic and genomic data sets.

R is not meant to be that way.
Data visualisation is a natural and powerfull way to show numbers and stories behind data. I normally start by doing some Exploratory Data Analysis work. Alternativelly, I can use Matplotlib / Plotly / R markdown to generate a full data report or go all the way to Shiny, possible powered up with JavaScript visualisation libraries such as D3.js.
I came to machine learning and data analysis from a Software Engineering background. I have a PhD in computional biology with ML as a Major and my interest is to build data/bioinformatics pipelines that give biotechnology companies and genomics labs the edge. I am particularly interested in building sequencing data pipelines that can scale to large amounts of genomics data and work in real-time.
My programming background has helped him automate most of his tasks along the way and he eventually ended up in cloud computing as it gave him even more possibilities. I specializes in architecting and implementing DevOps processes using Azure DevOps / Azure Cloud platforms, AWS and Docker.
